Stampendous and Ribbon Resource Blog Hop

Welcome to my little corner of the Webiverse. I have the pleasure of greeting you on the Jennifer day of the Ribbon Resource / Stampendous Blog Hop.
I always enjoy our hops with Stampendous...we each get a different mystery package of product and then I hear the words of Tim Gunn in my head..."make it work designers" and I'm off. My package included embossing powder and a stamp set with sentiments.

This is what I used:

1/8 Inch VELVET PINK – 12-inches

Kraft CardStock
White CardStock
VersaMark Stamp Pad
Stazon Cappuccino
EK Tools Paper Punch, Large, Deer Head
Sizzix Frame, Scallop Oval
Big Shot WOODGRAIN Textured Impressions Embossing
Slim Mini Paper Punches 2/Pkg-Flower & Retro Flower
Mini silver brads
Heat gun
Sizzix Big Shot
Scissors
Piercing Tool

Tips and Tricks:

Using Foil with Toner Sheets:
Punch deer head from iCraft® Deco Foil™ PeelnStick Toner Sheets. Cut foil sheet the size of toner sheet dear head. Lay foil sheet color side up over toner side of deer head place inside a piece of  iCraft® Deco Foil Parchment Paper and run through Foil Laminator. Let cool completely and peel away foil. Peel paper backing away and place on card.

For embossed flowers:
Apply Vera Mark Stamp pad directly to white card stock. Emboss. Punch flowers.

  5. This really feminizes a male-oriented stamp (or what you think would be male-oriented). The flowers are so pretty. Love how they pop from the card.
