On to today’s treasures…
As a sewing teacher I am always looking for
functional storage that allows easy access for my students, ages 7 to um well
grown up ages. No matter the age they need quick access to seam rippers and
other handy tools. Loading these tilt bins with nippers and seam rippers allows
for quick access and easy clean up. Here are some of the stats on the fab bins.

Interlocking Tilt Bin™ - 4 Bin

Color: White
Features:
- Mix and match to create your ideal storage system
- Interlocking, dovetail design allows you to stack and connect units together to form a custom modular system
- Clear bins tilt out effortlessly and stay open while in use; remove easily for cleaning and refilling
- Great for craft and scrapbooking storage, sewing supplies, and more.

This new Tilt Bin is a single size interlocking bin.
When linked up with other pieces you can create the perfect custom storage
system to fit any of your crafting storage needs.
Not all of the items you need to store look nice
through a clear bin so I created a bin liner with a cinch top. Makes for a quick pull out to use the items inside as well as adding my personal style and flair to the bins.

ReplyDeleteHi Annie,
DeleteI absolutely agree! Tilt bins are not ideal for most of my sewing needs although they do work well for storing large quantities of tools, but not everyone need a bin of nippers or measuring tapes. ;)

PS - I can't live without my self healing craft mat, it is part of every project I create. I use the cutting side to cut, the grid on the cutting side to align and the reverse side for when I am adhering layers together AND as a sturdy base for my Big Shot when I'm die cutting and embossing too => YES, it is an AWESOME tool!!!
First our grandmothers used the large wooden ones for storing flour and sugar, and here we are today still utilizing the design for crafting. Nice to see you are keeping it "all in the family"!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite craft tool is sheet protectors to hold the printed instructions and the templates needed for the projects (even envelopes for storing the little bits of templates).
